Its Wednesday!
Wednesday, March 21st, 2007I’ve been so busy at work, I’ve been neglecting the web-blog. . .go figure :(Â Anyway, here I am.
Someone told me a good way to say you’re busy- I’ve never heard it put this way before…. “I’m busier than a 1-legged man in a butt kickin’ contest”!! Yeah! That’s exactly how I’ve felt lately!! Plenty of projects and briefs and assorted stuff going on at work to keep me on my toes.
Thanks to the wonderful east coast change of seasons, my sinuses are driving me nuts! Spring and Fall have quickly become something I can do without. I would imagine some of you can sympathize. I believe I got this particular hand-me-down from my Dad (thanks, Dad!), and even passed it on to my son, Jared (sorry, Jared!)… but every time the pressure changes, I have sinus problems, and about 80% end up as infections. Ugh. Sinuses + working over time = blah.
I got my Kenny Chesney Flip Flop Tour tickets!!!! YE Haw! Got online the very minute they went on pre-sale (I’m a member of his fan club and got access a couple days before general sale!) Can’t wait until June 23rd! Its going to be an awesome weekend for many reasons, the 24th is Jared’s 18th birthday, we’ll be spending the evening with Adam & Megan in PA, and of course, the KC all day concert on the 23rd at Lincoln Field in Philly. Woo Hoo!!!
Dennis is always busy at Perdue - They’ve installed several new systems of one kind or another, and then having to take care of all the updates for who knows how many pc’s because of the early time change…they always find something to keep him on his toes. Since becoming the Regional Manager he travels up and down the Delmarva Peninsula from top to bottom pretty regularly.
Adam and Megan have finally started their journey to Europe… not physically, yet.. but they’ve got the plane tickets :) That’s a big start! They’re flying to Dublin, Ireland… and will take it from there. I’m SO excited for them! I know its something they really wanted to do, and I’m sure they are going to have a blast! As I mention occasionally, you can keep up with Adam & Megan, and guard dog Moxie, at www.tuttletree.com . One day I’ll learn to have a list of neat sites listed on the side bar of this site or something, like Adam does, but for now, I’ll just have to tell you about them.
Also, Adam has a link to www.poopandboogies.com which is another blog about raising kids and a father’s point of view, and is very funny to read. You should check it out!
Justin is still working at Easton Utilities and doing a great job as an internet technician, working on the help desk and also installing and trouble-shooting problems for locals.
Jared is finishing up the 12th grade and looking forward to being done with school. Not sure what is on the horizon for Jared, but I’m sure he’ll come up with something!
I guess that catches you up on us… for now…
