Well, well, well, if it isn’t that time of year, all over again! My first born turned 26 at 10:59am today.ÂÂ
Adam, “Jason” as we used to know him, was a pretty well traveled little boy. By the time he was 10, he had lived in Biloxi, MS; Gulfport, MS; Baton Rouge, LA; Edwards, CA; Lancaster, CA; Terciera, Azores, Portugal; and 3 different places in Virginia Beach, VA. All that by age 10!
He got to see the “running of the bulls” in the Azores. . .
He got to see the space shuttle circle out of the sky and land at Edwards Air Force Base in CA. . .
He felt the earth quake. . . (in Lancaster, CA). . .
He also had some pretty great experiences after age 10. I seem to remember camping in a foot or two of snow for a weekend of skiing. Rock climbing and rapelling off of Old Rag Mountain in the Appalachain’s. Mini Navy Boot Camp at Naval Base - Jacksonville, FL. No impact kayaking and camping at Jane’s Island State Park. Let us not forget skydiving!
If all that is not enough, lets top it off with marrying MeganÂÂ
Adam, you are a wonderful young man. You have a lot of life ahead of you, and have a zest for life like none other I’ve seen.ÂÂ
Happy Birthday, Kiddo, and many, many more to come in the future!
Lots of love,
Mom
